Cookie Policy
Summary Box uses cookies and similar storage to keep the site signed in, remember preferences, understand referrals, and run billing and authentication.
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, Chrome extension storage, and IndexedDB. The Summary Box website and extension use these technologies for the purposes below.
How We Use Them
- Necessary storage: login sessions, authentication, security, fraud prevention, checkout return state, and account access.
- Preferences: extension settings, cached summaries, local visit-log state, panel settings, and product preferences.
- Referrals and measurement: referral codes and basic product or site events so we can understand signups and improve the service.
- Third-party services: Stripe may use cookies for checkout and billing, and Google may use cookies when you choose Google sign-in.
Your Controls
You can control website cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, checkout, or account features from working. Chrome extension storage can be cleared by removing the extension or clearing extension data in Chrome.
